Snap Profile
Julie Allmayer is an Instructional Technology Support Specialist at Drexel University in Philadelphia and has been using Snap since mid-2008.
Snap is used across the University by Drexel faculty, staff, and students.
Surveys conducted range from course evaluations and research studies to surveys about the services provided by a particular department or office. Recently, a number of candidate evaluations for high-level positions at the University have also been administered through Snap.
“We use multiple methods for delivering surveys and collecting survey data. Although we highly encourage electronic delivery/collection via the web and mobile devices, a number of paper surveys are still utilized.”
Julie tells us about one of the more complex surveys that has been conducted in Snap recently … “ a research study by a doctoral student about the effects on workers of after-hours connectivity to organizations via cell and smart phones. The data gathered by the survey will increase the body of knowledge about this new and emerging area of study, which the student refers to as “electronic tethering,” or “ET” for short.”
We asked what she most enjoys about her job … “I enjoy helping users with survey creation, management, and data analysis. I try to take advantage of “teachable moments” as I troubleshoot with users -- that way, they’ll be more informed the next time around.”
She says about Snap “I have found that there are very few things Snap can’t do. The challenge, really, is figuring out how to use the software to accomplish our goals”
We think Drexel University is already using Snap in lots of different and innovative ways and look forward to hearing about many more!
Thank you Julie!

Clinical Audit 2010
It was great to see so many new (and familiar) faces at the Clinical Audit 2010 Show in February. Snap Survey Software is increasingly being adopted by many PCT's as well as individual hospitals as the software tool for Clinical Audit. If you would like a Snap demo online, or face to face, to find out why, give our Health Account Managers, Louise, Matt or Claire a call.
We have found the product easy to use, reliable and very time saving with exceptional support from Snap with any queries that we have had in learning to use the product. Both within the Audit and Effectiveness Team and within the clinical settings, the electronic data collection tools created with Snap have been well received and we are now using this method for some of our Trust wide audits and our smaller speciality specific projects with great success.
