  • A modern PC with at least 250MB of spare disk space
  • Server install requires 400MB on server and 25MB on clients

Snap XMP Scanning (Snap Desktop)

  • Requires an ISIS compatible scanner, or a scanner able to produce TIFF or PDF images
  • Disk space of 50-150kb per side for scanned pages

Snap XMP Offline Interviewer

  • Apple iPad, iPhone or iPod Touch devices running iOS15 or later
  • Android tablets or smartphones running version 10 or later
  • Amazon Kindle Fire HD tablets running OS5 or later
  • Windows based laptops, tablets and kiosks running Windows 11
  • An Internet connection is required to synchronise surveys and data
  • Application uses 1024 bit RSA encryption to store data on mobile devices (AttachIt requires device level encryption)

Snap XMP Online (On-Premises)

  • Windows Server 2019 or later running IIS, matching Microsoft’s minimum requirements, plus an additional 2GB memory
  • SQL Server 2016 or later, matching Microsoft’s minimum requirements
  • Further resources will be determined by load levels and usage profiles

For both security and reliability, Snap Surveys recommends using hardware, operating systems and software which are in support by their respective manufacturers. The use of end of life systems may result in some Snap features being unavailable, and support of those systems may also be limited.
