Skills for Care Workforce Readiness Tool

Skills for Care (SCF) developed a workforce capacity planning model (WCPM), to support Local Authorities in their preparations for the large scale changes brought about by the Care Act 2014. Working with Snap Surveys, SCF designed a questionnaire to simplify the WCPM into a survey that could be tailored to ask each participants questions relevant to their area.

Snap analyses the responses, and respondents are emailed an automated and personalised report. The survey report contains tailored recommendations to improve their preparations in certain areas, and links to relevant resources.

Gloucestershire Care Services NHS Trust

Gloucestershire Care Services use Snap Survey software to undertake the Friends and Family test, clinical audits, annual surveys and ad hoc surveys.

Each service has different requirements, so they use a range of survey formats: paper surveys, mobile surveys, and online surveys, to reach all patients and boost their response rates. Gloucestershire Care Services also uses email alerts, so that the Patient Experience Team can quickly pick up any concerns raised in the responses and liaise with services accordingly.

Using Snap Surveys for patient experience surveys has enabled Gloucestershire Care Services to gather more feedback, and react to and resolve problems more efficiently.
