United Nations’ Dubai COP28 Summit: 5 Top Tips for Recycling

The world leaders’ get-together on November 28th saw climate change as a hot topic once again.

With extreme weather around the world, the United Nations will discuss ways to tackle the crisis.

This follows reports that the US and China have held positive pre-liminary talks.

We all know that recycling is one of the ways we can help reduce our impact on the environment, so we thought we’d share some top recycling tips that all of us can do at home.

  1. Flatten, squash, and squeeze your recyclables to save room in your recycling containers.

  2. Use rechargeable batteries as standard batteries can contain toxic metals that are bad for the environment.

  3. Donate your old clothes

  4. Buy smarter – one large bottle of water is better than a 6-pack of smaller ones

  5. Separate your recycling by its material, such as glass and plastic.
