This makes sure that any problems you meet are not to do with the scanner set-up.\n<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>   The <strong>Survey Overview<\/strong> window opens when you first start Snap XMP Desktop. There are two types of survey: online surveys and offline surveys. Click Online surveys to show a list of all the online surveys that are available to the current online account. Click Offline surveys to show a list of all the surveys that are stored in your current offline working folder. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>   These instructions show how to create an online survey with the Scanning survey template, available  with Snap XMP Desktop. Using an online survey allows you to access the survey in Snap XMP Online as well. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Add your online account details<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>   Before you can create or view the online surveys in <strong>Snap XMP Desktop<\/strong> you will need to set up a link with a <strong>Snap XMP Online<\/strong> user account. You will need to enter your <strong>Snap XMP Online<\/strong> account details to link the surveys created in this <strong>Snap XMP Online<\/strong> account to <strong>Snap XMP Desktop<\/strong>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>   Close any open surveys in <strong>Snap XMP Desktop<\/strong> using <strong>File\/Close Survey<\/strong>. <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>   Click the <strong>Tailor<\/strong> menu and click <strong>Online Account <\/strong>to open the<strong> Log in to Snap XMP Online<\/strong> dialog.  <\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"427\" height=\"312\" src=\"https:\/\/www.snapsurveys.com\/support-snapxmp\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/01\/onlineaccount-png.png\" alt=\"Log in to the Snap Online account\" class=\"wp-image-3634\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.snapsurveys.com\/support-snapxmp\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/01\/onlineaccount-png.png 427w, https:\/\/www.snapsurveys.com\/support-snapxmp\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/01\/onlineaccount-png-300x219.png 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 427px) 100vw, 427px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\" start=\"3\">\n<li>In the <strong>Select Server<\/strong> section there are two options\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>       Select <strong>Snap XMP Online<\/strong> if your account is run by <strong>Snap Surveys. <\/strong>Select the <strong>Snap XMP Online<\/strong> server to log in.     <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>       Select <strong>Own Server<\/strong> if your organisation is running <strong>Snap XMP Online<\/strong> on their server. Select the server URL to log in.      <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>\n  In the <strong>User Details<\/strong> section enter the <strong>Email Address<\/strong> and <strong>Password <\/strong>to connect<strong> <\/strong>to the server.\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>   Check <strong>Remember my credentials<\/strong> if you would like the Password to be remembered every time you use <strong>Snap XMP Desktop<\/strong>. <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>   Click <strong>OK<\/strong> to log in to the online surveys<strong> <\/strong>via<strong> Snap XMP Desktop<\/strong>. <\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Creating a folder for your scanning online surveys<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>\n  Folders help to organise your online surveys. Creating your folders first allows you to create or transfer your online surveys to the place you want straight away. \n<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>   When you start Snap XMP Desktop the Survey Overview window appears. If it is not open, click <strong>Survey Overview<\/strong>    <img decoding=\"async\" width=\"26\" height=\"26\" class=\"wp-image-3635\" src=\"https:\/\/www.snapsurveys.com\/support-snapxmp\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/01\/surveyoverviewicon-png.png\" alt=\"SurveyOverviewIcon.png\">     on the Snap XMP toolbar, which opens the Survey Overview window. <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>   On the Survey Overview toolbar, click <strong>Online Surveys<\/strong>    <img decoding=\"async\" width=\"25\" height=\"25\" class=\"wp-image-3636\" src=\"https:\/\/www.snapsurveys.com\/support-snapxmp\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/01\/5-onlinesurveysicon-png.png\" alt=\"5.OnlineSurveysIcon.png\">    to show the online surveys.
