A frequency table displays the number of cases for the variable(s). Use <strong>WITH<\/strong> or a semi-colon to link them together. The maximum number of rows or columns is 2000 values. No value should appear in the <strong>Break <\/strong>field. (You can also build a frequency table from an expression in the <strong>Break <\/strong>field with nothing in the <strong>Analysis <\/strong>field.)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" width=\"157\" height=\"159\" src=\"https:\/\/www.snapsurveys.com\/support-snapxmp\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/09\/frequencytbleg-png.png\" alt=\"Example of a frequency table\" class=\"wp-image-2367\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><a id=\"post-2366-_Toc35499110\"><\/a>Cross-tabulation<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>This is a table where two or more variables are mapped against each other. One set appears in the <strong>Analysis <\/strong>and the other in the <strong>Break <\/strong>field. Use <strong>WITH <\/strong>(<strong>:<\/strong>) or <strong>PER <\/strong>to link multiple variables. A cross-tabulation displays the data for cases that appear in both categories.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"599\" height=\"229\" src=\"https:\/\/www.snapsurveys.com\/support-snapxmp\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/09\/example-cross-tab-croc-q2-against-q9-amd-10.png\" alt=\"Example of a cross-tabulation\" class=\"wp-image-2368\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><a id=\"post-2366-_Toc35499111\"><\/a>Grid table<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Used for tabulating grid questions. Enter the word <strong>TO <\/strong>or <strong>~ <\/strong>between the first and last grid question numbers in the analysis field or list questions separated by commas. You can also enter the word <strong>GRID <\/strong>in the <strong>Break <\/strong>field or select <strong>Grid table<\/strong> from the dropdown list.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" width=\"496\" height=\"163\" src=\"https:\/\/www.snapsurveys.com\/support-snapxmp\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/09\/gridtbleg-png.png\" alt=\"Example of a grid table\" class=\"wp-image-2369\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><a id=\"post-2366-_Toc35499112\"><\/a>Holecount table<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Holecount tables display the counts in the variables, as the code labels do not appear: just Code 1, Code 2, etc. They are a useful method of checking the accuracy of data entry and a simple way of highlighting areas with possible errors prior to full analysis of the survey. Select <strong>Holecount table<\/strong> from the dropdown list in the break or analysis field.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"386\" height=\"170\" src=\"https:\/\/www.snapsurveys.com\/support-snapxmp\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/09\/holecounteg-png.png\" alt=\"Example of a holecount table\" class=\"wp-image-2370\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><a id=\"post-2366-_Toc35499113\"><\/a>Descriptive statistics table<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Statistics tables display a selection of statistics about the variable. Enter the word <strong>STATS <\/strong>or select <strong>Statistics table<\/strong> from the dropdown list in either the <strong>Analysis<\/strong> or <strong>Break<\/strong> field.
