Update about UKFast as one of Snap Surveys’ data subprocessors

We have some news about UKFast, one of the data subprocessors that Snap Surveys uses for hosting our customers’ data in the UK.

Late last year, it was announced that UKFast intended to merge with ANS to become “one of the UK’s leading independent digital transformation businesses across both the public and private sectors”.

The two companies are already part of the same corporate group.

Recently, UKFast has confirmed that this merger will go ahead. As a result, UKFast will combine with ANS as one company called ANS Group Limited (company number 03176761) on 31 March 2022.

This means that from that date, ANS Group Limited will replace UKFast.Net Limited as one of Snap Surveys’ subprocessors.

UKFast has confirmed that all its staff are moving to ANS Group, which will also maintain all of UKFast’s existing data security commitments (including ISO27001 and UK data-hosting).

Our UK customers’ arrangements with Snap Surveys, the service we provide, and our customers’ survey data, are not affected by this.

We are sharing this news to keep our clients (and prospective clients) up to date and in line with GDPR requirements.
