Course outline

Overview

This course is designed to help you create effective surveys that will give you accurate information about the demographics, behaviours, choices, and opinions of your sample or target population. The course materials include a set of checklists to guide the user at each stage of the design process, and exercises to practice the skills during the course. The course is designed as an interactive course for up to 8 delegates, but can also be run in seminar format for larger groups.

Audience

This course is aimed at novice or experienced survey and questionnaire designers who wish to improve the accuracy of the data they gather from surveys.  Snap survey software may be used for illustration during the course, but delegates will not require any prior knowledge or experience of Snap survey software.

Prerequisites

There are no specific prerequisites for attending this course. Standard exercises will be used during the course, but if you wish you may bring along a current questionnaire or notes regarding a planned or current survey of your own which you can work with during the exercise sessions.
