System Requirements for Snap Professional (and Network edition)

Software

  • Snap Professional, Windows 2000, XP, Vista, Windows 7, Windows 8 (x86/x64 CPU). Network edition all Windows server operating systems.
  • JavaScript-enabled browser such as Firefox or Internet Explorer (5.5 or later).

Hardware

  • A Pentium processor with a clock speed of 166Mhz or faster
  • A minimum of 64Mb of RAM.
  • 165Mb – 400Mb of available hard disk for Server and Stand-alone installs
  • 25 Mb of available hard disk for Client installs

Additional System requirements for Scanning Module

Hardware

  • Requires a ISIS compatible scanner
  • Available hard-disk space of 50-150k per side for scanned pages

Additional System requirements for Mobile Interviewing Module

  • PC interviewing stations must be running Windows 2000, XP, Vista or Windows 7, Windows 8 (x86/x64 CPU) with Microsoft Internet Explorer version 5.5 or later.
  • PDA interviewing stations must be running Windows Mobile (Classic/Professional) up to version 6.5. Please note that we will be working on compatibility with devices running Windows RT.

Software

  • Kiosk and laptops used as interviewing stations should be running Windows 2000, XP, Vista or Windows 7, Windows 8 (x86/x64 CPU) with Microsoft Internet Explorer version 5.5 or later.

Hardware

  • iPad, Android and Windows tablets.
  • iPhone, Android, and Windows smartphones.
  • PDA interviewing stations must be running Windows Mobile (Classic/Professional) up to version 6.5. Please note that we will be working on compatibility with devices running Windows RT.

Additional System requirements for WebHost Server installation

Software

  • Windows Server 2003 or later
  • Microsoft IIS V6.0 or later
