Mobile Interviewing Module
Fully integrated into the Snap Professional system. Snap Mobile Interviewing Module may be used to conduct surveys using PDA's, Laptops, Tablets and Kiosks. Use this module to publish and conduct face-to-face surveys, capture the survey data and upload the information to your desktop PC for analysis.
Questionnaire design
- Use supplied questionnaire design templates to produce styles suitable for PDA's, UMPCs, Tablets, Kiosks and Laptops (requires one or more standard Windows-based computers as the interviewing station(s). NB: Not currently Palm or Handspring Products).
- Have any number of questions on a 'page' - you specify.
- Alter font and colour specifications.
- Incorporate routing, text substitution, code masking and pattern validation.
- Limit responses: support exclusive responses and minimum and maximum number of responses.
- Reference to Derived Variables - Use calculated values within the questionnaire rather than simply the response to a previous question to manage dynamic text substitution, routing and answer masks.
- Switch language in response to the reply to a language choice question.
- Kiosk questionnaires include facilities to manage direct respondent interaction including: auto-reset to start of survey after a pre-determined period of non-activity, and auto-submission of partial and complete responses.
Data collection
- No specific data entry phase: Interviewer or interviewee responses are entered directly by them.
- Interviewers can work locally or remotely.
- Responses can be downloaded directly into Snap using synchronisation, via a USB stick or via e-mail.
Results analysis
- Perform all standard analyses as per Snap Professional.
System requirements
Hardware and OS
- PDA interviewing stations must be running Windows Mobile.
- PC-based interviewing stations must be running Windows 98, ME, NT, XP or Vista with Microsoft Internet Explorer version 5.5 or later.
Software
- Requires Snap Professional.
