There are currently 9 SurveyPaks available for use by both private companies and public services in a wide range of fields including Health, Customer Satisfaction, Human Resources, UK Best Value Performance Indicators and Travel & Tourism. The surveys produced may be part of a benchmarking exercise or they may be used for ad-hoc research.

Snap 7

When designing Snap 7 we wanted to make the whole research process, from questionnaire design to data processing to analysis and report writing a more complete and productive process. Snap 7, is available as the standard version to any new Snap customers and free of charge to existing users with a maintenance agreement, is packed with enhancements that will appeal to the whole spectrum of users.

Snap’s Statistics

We looked at the statistics features in Snap, what they are and how they are used. Snap provides Summary Statistics and Significance Testing. Summary statistics summarize large quantities of information and thereby allow comparisons. Significance Testing tests whether results are meaningful or just the subject of random fluctuations.

Web hosting and response management

How can you offer clients a full research service covering the full spectrum of research services from strategic to tactical projects? We talk to a consultancy that has developed a "virtual business model" to do just that. Bristol City Council makes a huge investment in public consultation. To bring details of all its consultations together, the Council has set up 'Consultation Finder', a website where members of the public can access consultation results and see what consultations are in the pipeline. This article coincided with the launch of the Snap PDA module for publishing questionnaires, and importing data, from handheld Windows CE computers. Especially useful where interviews need to be speedy or for where interviewers need to be seen using the latest equipment.
