Snap Surveys were sponsors of the London Sexual Health Programme and London South Bank University event to launch the PPE Sexual Health toolkit on 18 May 2011. 170 people from around the country attended and enjoyed the presentations and marketplace presentations (sadly we didn’t win the best presentation in the marketplace!)
The toolkit is based on scoping of best practice and provides examples of best practice and resources to encourage patient engagement in sexual and reproductive health. It was launched by Baroness Gould, Chair of the all-party Parliamentary Group on Sexual and Reproductive Health.
Delegates included patients, public, and professionals including representatives from a diverse range of organisations and areas in and out of London, including: Department of Health, London PCTs/clusters, Brook, THT, MedFASH, BPAS, HPA, Naz Project, Picker Institute, Positivity UK, Nottingham University Hospitals Trust, Kent, Hertfordshire, Bristol, Telford and Wrekin, London clinics and Hospitals.
Andrea Duncan, DH Sexual Health Policy Lead, praised the toolkit and noted it being vital for QIPP delivery. This resource is designed as a ‘toolbox’ for you to choose which methods are appropriate and achievable for your unique service.
The Toolkit is now live at: www.londonsexualhealth.org/patient-public-engagement/ppe-toolbox/the-toolkit.html
One of the attending organisations, BPAS, is a Snap customer who use a range of software and services to reach their clients.
“…the product, the advice from the team and the help line have all added value to this area of my work, which in turn helps to achieve our aims.”
